14 MARLBOROUGH MIDWEEK, SEPTEMBER 17, 2014 Memorial garden opens Ashwood Park Retirement Village staff and residents celebrated the village’s 20th birthday on Friday. The day saw the official opening of a memorial garden built over six weeks to commemorate those who fought for the country. The birthday celebrations moved indoors later that evening for a 1920s themed cocktail party.
